If you are a returning visitor to this blog, you’ve not doubt noticed a new look and feel to it. I wanted something that reflected my current mood a little better than the bright colors of the last theme. I really like the clean uncluttered feel of this new theme. Let me know what you think of it. A new post will be coming within a day or 2 on family happenings.

Did you know that you can customize how this site looks to you? See those 11 boxes in the header of this page? Click through them and pick your favorite background. My favorites are the sky backgrounds, but I’ll let you pick what looks the best to you. As soon as I’m done with this post, I think I’ll check to see if I can change the default background from white to one of these. So when you are reading this, I might have picked on of them for you. Let me know which is your favorite by leaving a comment to this post.

I’ve been a subscriber to parentcenter for over 5 years now. There I was 5 1/2 months ago, my wife was pregnant with twin boys, and I was completely unaware of what was going to happen. By becoming a member on their site and entering my kids due date, I began receiving weekly updates on what was happening in my unborn baby’s life. Those emails didn’t stop after they were born either. I continued to receive those weekly emails giving this clueless parent clues about how to handle certain situations. Those clues ranged from how to handle the nightly feeding schedules to hints about taking your infant out to a restaurant.

This site definitely has a tilt toward the mother, but the involved father can relate to a majority of the articles too.
